Dear Parents/Guardians:

Students in grades 3-5 will be taking the English Language Arts MCAS 2.0 in April and the Math MCAS 2.0 in May as well as the Grade 5 Science Technology & Engineering in May. It is necessary that all students in grades 3-5 attend school daily. During the testing weeks listed below, students MUST be in attendance. I am sending the dates along early to be sure that you can plan all appointments around these dates. These tests are extremely important, so it is critical that all students are in attendance and on time. Early dismissals will NOT be permitted on testing days. Please also begin to prepare your child that NO electronics should be brough to school including Smart watches. All cell phones will be collected and turned off at the beginning of the day. Phones will be returned at the end of the day. We are also asking parents to promote a good night sleep prior to testing and a healthy breakfast on the day of testing if they do not eat breakfast at school. We appreciate your support in helping your child to be successful!
